across demographic patterns when targeting informal sector workers. There is also need to
enhance awareness of insurance service provider and accredited healthcare service provider
so as to inculcate the positive impact of the uptake of the NHIF insurance scheme in the
minds of the informal sector workers. Health insurance service providers need also to
consider such issues as relative cash flows among income groups and introduce products
along this like weekly subscriptions to cater for days with little or no cash flows. Finally, the
social health insurers need to improve the visibility of their facilities online through their
applications and websites so as to enable the informal sector subscribers know where to
